Jesus and Religion - a video response

So I'm sure everyone has seen the "Why I hate religion, but love Jesus" video by now. Well, my friend Mat and I, with some help from our spouses, a recording studio, and a friend named Maria... got this video done and up in less than a week. 

I have to say, it feels good to finally be able to turn around a video really quickly when necessary. Sure, there are things I'd love to make better. I think there always will be, in any project. But I hope this just does some good in the response to the original video. I'm also excited that another excellent video was made in the same time frame! Check this one out: 

There have been several timely responses. I'm just really excited to see people responding. Of course, it's difficult because we don't have a "sound bite" faith. There is only so much you can put into a youtube video! The real challenge is in living out our love for God every day. 

The death of the office...

Once upon a time, people got up in the morning and left to go to 9a-5p jobs M-F and that was their work. Not so for my little family...

It amazes me how things come together these days. Between playing with Clare, I got some video files updated and exporting for a sound mix I'm doing. All within about 30 minutes of receiving the hard drive in the mail.

Now my computer, chained to an external hard drive in Clare's room, will sit here for +/- 10 hours processing away. Sitting on a changing table. While I do some other assorted work - from laundry to script writing to animation beat sheets.

The New Year...

I will continue the series on contraception... eventually.

The New Year has brought with it about my maximum capacity for film work, let alone the little girl, husband, and all the other things in life! Thank God for the influx in work - the film industry is definitely feast and famine and right now is a feast time. I'm now working actively, in different capacities, on two feature-length and two short films. There are four other features on the table. Yeah, I'm busy in 2012.
